It's time to make a change
It is important for us to make a conscious effort to reduce our carbon footprint. We are constantly working towards net-zero manufacturing and striving to reduce our global emissions.
step one
Sustainable packaging
We work closely with our packaging partners to produce high quality, yet environmentally friendly packaging.
All of our packaging contains FSC certified materials and we're always looking for ways that they can be improved. In more recent years, we have chosen to introduce packaging made from the material rPET. This stands for recycled PET, which in other words, is recycled plastic. And although we aim to reduce our overall use of plastic, the introduction of this helps to reduce marine pollution by making it easily recyclable.
step two
Recycled materials
Silver is a precious metal that can be infinitely recycled into sustainable jewellery without losing any quality. Through working closely with our manufactures, we ensure each stage is as sustainable as possible. We always recycle any offcuts or scraps during the production process. They are collected and sent back to the refinery where they can be recycled back into pure silver. This silver can then be used for producing new jewellery.
We do make sure, where possible, our jewellery is made from recycled 925 sterling silver. However, we admit this isn't all of our jewellery. That's why we promise, by 2025, all of our pieces will come from recycled sources.
step three
Made to last
At FIYAH, we create jewellery that is meaningful but also high quality pieces. We understand that each piece can carry sentimental value to its wearer and any damage can be upsetting. This is why we have undergone vigorous manufacturing tests to ensure we only manufacture durable and made to last . We don't make throw away pieces. Our jewellery is special and we want it to last a lifetime.
